Shipping Policy - the basics

Shipping

• Items are shipped only after full payment is received.

• The store ships merchandise and prints within Canada (and internationally if specified).

  • The artist guarantees the condition of the goods as presented on the site, but is not responsible for delays or damages caused by third-party carriers after shipment.

  • Insurance requested for shipping numbered prints and original works will likely increase shipping costs and must be factored into your purchase.

  • Original works of art may require special shipping containers depending on the size. They may take a week or more to package, insure and ship. The cost of special shipping requirement  may not be included in the price.

  • Certain Reproductions like signed numbered prints will be processed from the artist's studio and therefore require up to a week to process, package, insure and post.

  • Much of the art egg's merchandise is shipped from a third party and has a production and shipping time of 3-5 days.

Shipping by Third Parties

• At The Art Egg, we use Printful for custom print-on-demand order fulfillment, with a fulfillment center located in Canada to serve you faster and more cost-effectively.

• Order Processing: Orders are produced within 2–5 business days before they are shipped.

• Shipping Time: For customers in Quebec and across Canada, delivery typically takes 3–5 business days after fulfillment. Ontario customers may receive shipments in as little as 2-5 business days.

• There should be no Customs or Import Fees to Canadian customers: Since orders are fulfilled and shipped from within Canada, including Quebec.  However, due to the instability of US suppliers and the associated tarriffs, we cannot guarantee that as of yet. However, all suppliers selected were Canadian suppliers thus reducing this likelihood.

• Delivery Carriers: Orders are shipped via reliable third-party carriers. Delivery times may vary slightly based on your location and carrier logistics.

• Currency and Taxes: Prices and shipping fees are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes such as GST will be charged on Canadian orders. Quebec orders are subject to QST as well as GST.

• Order Splitting: Some products may ship separately due to packaging requirements.

• Please note sometimes products not available at the Canadian facility may be shipped from the U.S., which could lead to longer delivery times and potential duties.
