I was painting in a sunny location in our new apartment in Montréal. I was on my way out of a multi-year bout of depression, I could see the light at the end of the tunnel.
When I completed this experimental piece, I felt utter joy. I painted my friends into the piece: Ellen, Gino, Joel, Amelia, my siblings and myself while including some random folks.
I would describe this painting as : A colourful beach scene where sunbathers are enjoying the sun sand and waves
Oil paint on masonite.
