This piece began because I thought I should draw BIG. So I did. The tub alone ate the best part of at least one pen.  I like it as is, but it seems unfinished. I started by drawing the mouth and teeth and then drew the shark around it. Some of the influence (of a lot of my pieces) is from Watterson’s Calvin.
Its holder name is Tub Shark. But it doesn't quite describe the intention behind the piece. 'Just Checking' is more or less what is happening. When it is available it will be a Limited Edition print. The original drawing is approximately 4 feet high. I am thinking of more splashes, a carpet. I’ll get there.
